This Blog is Getting Worse

I know I know, you don't gotta TELL me. What, I have like fashion apathy this summer or something. Its not entirely my fault; its too early to write about fall and Lady Gaga has been dressing like a weird old label whore lady with a purse dog..... I don't have a lot to work with here people!!!!!

Whatever....I like you better as a metal slut.

I guess this is kinda cool though...

Oh gosh, I dunno, maybe you should just look at these pictures of Raja and Sharon, I'm going to the beach.

William invented the term "Race Chaser" to describe people who are out to fuck Drag Race contestants, "like a Starfucker only sadder". But what do you call your drunk friend who makes out with Sharon's brother for 40 minutes and then horrifyingly exclaims "I did that for you!".....I call her Alexis.

Jeremy Kost is rad; look him up!
Raja serving some James St.James realness.
I am really horrible at giving photo credits, but I made a point to write this down: photo by Traver Rains (omg is that right?; I can barely read my own handwriting.)
My crush is strait but I think its cute to see him kiss a dude....is this some like fag hag curse? I dunno, its just so lame when strait guys are like "thats faggot shit... I can't like tell if that guy is hot. BUH." Fucking grow a pair and make out with a dude already fucking strait boys, gawd.

Daphne's Epic Auction

So I'm assuming my invitation got lost in the mail, right Daphne? Its too bad, I really would have enjoyed trying to outbid Mother on some insane shoes. Despite my absence, the auction was a great success; Daphne auctioned off dozens of rad clothes and shoes and ended up raking in over $744,000 to benefit the Isabella Blow Foundation! The foundation supports both emerging designers in the UK and research into mental health and depression. Now that's what I call philanthropy realness!

Woah, Biebs on the cover of V?

When my V mag came in the mail yesterday and I saw Biebs was on the cover I screamed, and it was not the kind of scream that would come from a infatuated tween Bielieber. It was more like the kind of scream that would happen if Butthead walked in on Beavis taking a dump. "UUUUHhhhhhhhhhhh!"

=

I was like what the fuck, Biebs in V? Thats Gaga's territory! And we all know how he feels about her. "Its like I came out an egg, its art, buuuuhhhhhh" (to paraphrase Biebs reaction to Gaga's Grammys egg hatchery). Whatever Biebs you brought your pet baby snake to the Grammys, you eccentric little teen. "This snake is a baby, baby, baby, oooohhhhhhhhh!" Sorry, I couldn't help myself!

So if you are freaked out by this magazine cover, don't worry, its a really good issue. Nina Hagen is in there and Marilyn Manson and Ke$ha! And Gaga of course has her regular fashion column. If you're still upset, just do what I did and pretend Biebs is a teen version of Shane from the L-Word!

My fave part of this issue so far was the fashion illustrations from Gaga's column. Especially the one Karl Lagerfeld did for the Chanel gown she wore to the opening of her Christmas Workshoppe at Barneys.

Avec Nicolas....

Werk mami...

Shes epic.

Karl's good at drawing.

Besties?

Karl also had some kind words for Lady G:

"Gaga gives the world her music and her talent, but the thing I like most is that she fights against boredom and banality. She also puts forth an ever changing, inspiring, and strong image--an image beyond fashion. She is an extreme concentrate of 'zeit-geist', freeing us from the heavy boredom of publicly displayed political correctness by being herself more than politically correct. Something in today's world would be missed if there was no Lady Gaga because Gaga is a Lady."

Awwwww....Karl, I was kinda miffed at you last week, but I guess you've redeemed yourself. Mwah!

Lady Gaga at the Brit Awards

At the Brit Awards, Lady Gaga did a breathtaking ballad version of Telephone, followed by a minimalist version of Dance in the Dark using this crazy looking upright bass keytar sampler thing, but *woah* lets talk about her outfit for a minute. I was totally surprised but this three-tiered, baggy, cult member outfit on the red carpet; I guess I'm just so used to seeing that hot body! I love the way she is posing, she's like "Go on and hang me on the cross already!"

The lace bodysuit she wore underneath (or changed into) for her performance was more what I would expect out of Gaga, with the added bonus of a crotch shot in the press room. She smartly paired her ensembles of the evening with a pretty lace face mask and a bride of Frankenstein wig.

Did you watch her performance yet?! Don't miss an awkward Courtney Love standing next to Ginger Spice at the end.

Gaga at the Grammys

So is this just turning into my Lady Gaga fan blog or what? Well, that was not exactly my plan, but its kinda hard right now because she is just the best thing in existence! I would give my left buttcheek to work for the Haus of Gaga; where do I send my resume?!

Anyway, I really liked Gaga's red carpet look at the Grammys. The dress is by Armani. She looked kinda like the Tooth Fairy from the Fifth Dimension. I really love her hair and makeup. I was obsessed with dyeing my hair that color yellow for a year or so back when I was slanging product at the beauty supply. I think I'm going to get a wig just like hers to complete my spring/summer look.
